Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, popularly referred to by the name Ashanti was born on 13 October 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a songwriter, singer and actor of the United States. Ashanti became famous as a teenager and eventually signing with Murder Inc. Records in 2002. In the same year, she was included on Fat Joe's What's Luv? track and Ja Rule's Always on Time track. Both of them became massive hits. With Foolish and What's Luv as the top two songs and her first number one hit, she was the only woman to have two songs in the Billboard Hot 100 chart top ten of the United States. at number two. Aitch was a sampler of Rock wit U in his Baby on March 10, 2022 song.
