Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor for a number of years. He is most popular for the roles he was in "Law & Ordinance Special Victims Unit". The first time he became interested in acting was in his early college days. He was a student of acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he has appeared in movies as well as on TV but it's the characters portrayed on small screens which have earned him acclaim. His ability to play characters from both sides of the law is a draw for viewers. He played the role of a serial killer in his debut television show as well as later portrayed an NYPD detective. For his performances on small screens, he has received multiple nominations for prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. He is famous by his blue piercing eyes, which have turned into an iconic feature and have helped to create a charismatic character for tough roles. The year 2006 was the last time he was included in People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
